Simon Goldschmidt
Born on March 21, 1870 in Heubach,
deported from Munich to Theresienstadt in June 24, 1942.
From there he was transported on to Treblinka.

On March 21, 1870, Simon Goldschmidt was born sixth of eleven children of the married couple Moses Goldschmidt and his wife Caroline, née Katz.

There is very little information about Simon Goldschmidt. He married Benjamina Strauß from Geroda who was probably the sister of his brother Nathan´s wife. Simon Goldschmidt was a tailor and probably lived with his wife in Geroda.

The Memorial Book of Munich´s Jews documents their removal to the retirement home of the Jewish religious community on January 15, 1940. Both were deported to Theresienstadt 1942 and from there displaced to Treblinka on September 19, 1942.

At that time Simon Goldschmidt was seventy-two years old.
