Malchen Klebe, née Adler
Born on January 7, 1879 in Heubach,
deported from Frankfurt / Main to Theresienstadt,
pronounced dead.

Mahla (Malchen) Adler was born on January 7, 1879, fourth of seven children of Moses Adler II and his wife Sara, née Rosa.

She married the cattle trader Jakob Klebe from Rhina and lived from then on in his birthplace. Their daughter Bertha was born in Heubach in 1915. Malchen Klebe dwelled at her parents home due to the fact that her husband had been inducted to war. Since the summer of 1938 the couple had attempted to flee into exile to the U.S. several times, but in vain. Their chattel already was packed and delivered to a forwarder. Because of the outbreak of war their emigration failed. In February of 1939 the married couple moved to Frankfurt. There they were reliant on the support of the Jewish community. Malchen Klebe and her husband were probably deported to an extermination or concentration camp and killed there.

The dates of their deaths were appointed to December 31, 1945. At that time Malchen Klebe was sixty-two years old.
